In der September Ausgabe unserer Reihe "Spotlight" möchten wir Ihnen eine aktuelle Entscheidung des BGH zum Thema "Bauhaftung und Nachbarschäden" vorstellen. Konkret geht es um die Frage, ob im Falle von Nachbarschäden neben dem Bauherrn als Grundstückseigentümer auch der Bauunternehmer verschuldensunabhängig für die am Nachbargrundstück entstandenen Schäden haftet.

In the September issue of our "Spotlight" newsletter we would like to present to you a recent decision by the German Federal Court of Justice dealing with "Construction Liability and Damage to a Neighbouring Property". In particular, this newsletter issue focuses on the question if, in case of damage to a neighbouring property, apart from the house builder as property owner also the building contractor can be held liable for the damage caused to the neighbouring property irrespective of whether or not the latter is responsible for the damage caused.
