Alan has many years of experience advising IFIs and DFIs and major commercial banks on the financing of projects, particularly in the energy sector across Latin America.

  • CAF and other lenders in the project financing provided to a SPV owned by Canadian Solar for the development of the 100.1MW Cafayate solar power project in Argentina under the RenovAr program; Latin America Project Finance Deal of the Year, Power Finance Risk Awards 2019
  • a global investment management firm in the US$70 million private placement for the financing of the 850MW and 94MW CCGT projects with PPAs with CFE Calificados; Infrastructure Financing of the Year 2019: Mexico
