Heiko-Jan Lameijer specialises in financial regulation, with a focus on licensing (incl. banks, insurance firms, EMIs and PSPs) and change of control procedures involving financial institutions. He has extensive experience dealing with EU regulators following a career with the Dutch prudential regulator.
His expertise includes advising on (cross-border) license requirements, financial market access regulation, governance, prudential requirements and consolidated supervision. He is frequently involved in corporate restructurings and M&A transactions, including IPOs, and contributes to the implementation of EU financial regulatory law in Dutch national law.
