Laura is a lawyer in our Global Tech Group. She supports strategic and complex technology, commercial, regulatory, privacy and compliance matters for global clients operating in the technology and consumer space. She has a particular focus on emerging technologies, particularly in the fintech, biotech and climatetech sectors.
Laura has spent time seconded to a leading, global technology company, working closely with in-house security, business and legal teams in responding to security incidents and security compliance, as well as supporting the development of new business strategies for the commercialisation of regulated consumer products.
She has extensive technical experience working at the interface of the life sciences and data sectors, having previously worked in the academic sector coding algorithms to improve production of high-value chemicals for the biotech sector, and joined a climatetech startup developing solutions for sustainable farming. She is an active member of the biotech community across the UK, Europe and the US and member of our tech, fintech and healthcare, life sciences & chemicals interest groups.
