Juan Valcárcel is a senior associate lawyer in the Corporate and M&A practice area at Clifford Chance.
He specialises in advising on M&A, corporate restructurings, and general corporate matters. Juan has developed expertise in the (re)insurance sector, working with insurance undertakings on acquisitions and divestments, bancassurance agreements, portfolio transfers, distribution and agency agreements, joint ventures, and (re)insurance regulatory law. He also works with private equity firms and corporate clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors, providing advice on portfolio acquisitions, sales, and joint ventures for asset development and operation, particularly in the renewable energy market.
In recent years, he has been recognised as a Rising Star by The Legal 500 and as an Associate to Watch by Chambers.
