Johnny Siu is a Senior Associate in the Hong Kong office and a member of the APAC Funds & Asset Management group.

He advises asset managers, institutional investors and financial institutions on the structuring, formation and ongoing operation of a broad range of closed-ended and open-ended private investment funds across different strategies, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit and hedge fund strategies.

Johnny has extensive experience across the full spectrum of onshore and offshore fund structures, including limited partnerships, segregated portfolio companies, open-ended fund companies, and complex master-feeder arrangements. His practice spans the full fund lifecycle, from initial platform establishment and legacy fund restructurings to structuring bespoke access funds tailored for targeted alternative investments

In addition, Johnny advises asset managers on regulatory compliance requirements, including SFC licensing issues and compliance obligations under Hong Kong securities law.
