Helen’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, particularly matters involving PRC elements or a regulatory overlay.  She has extensive experience acting in enforcement actions, shareholders’ disputes, M&A disputes as well as contentious regulatory proceedings.

Helen spent her formative years in the PRC and Australia.  Her background and training at a leading international firm, a white shoe US firm and another Magic Circle firm have underpinned a holistic and practical approach to disputes resolution. She is particularly attuned to the legal, commercial, regulatory and reputational considerations faced by clients. Helen’s experience includes acting on numerous tracing and enforcement actions for financial institutions, as well as fact-intensive and legally complex shareholder disputes. She also frequently provides strategic pre litigation advice, assisting clients in maximising their position at an early stage of a dispute while preserving rights and optionality.
