Dayu Man specialises in antitrust and competition law. Dayu has advised multinational and domestic corporations, investment banks and private equity firms on antitrust matters in relation to global merger control filings, FDI filings as well as antitrust conduct rules across a range of sectors.

  • Advised China Baowu Steel Group on the merger control and FDI filings in numerous jurisdictions for its acquisition of 51% interest of TISCO and acquisition of 51% interest in Magang Group
  • Advised Pfizer on the merger between Pfizer Upjohn and Mylan, and on Pfizer's sale of consumer healthcare business to GlaxoSmithKline plc
  • Advised Coca-Cola on its joint venture with Mengniu in China, and on its acquisition of Costa Limited
  • Advised KIRKBI (the owner of the LEGO brand) on the establishment of a joint venture operating LEGOLAND theme park in Shanghai, and on the privatization of Merlin Entertainments by a consortium formed of KIRKBI, Blackstone and CPPIB
