Clifford Chance advises Expedia Group on antitrust aspects of its acquisition of CarTrawler

Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Expedia Group on the antitrust aspects of its agreement to acquire CarTrawler, an Ireland-based B2B platform powering car rental, ground transport and Insurtech solutions for the global travel industry.

The proposed acquisition advances Expedia Group’s strategy to build the most complete B2B travel platform, by adding a leading provider of B2B car rental, ground transport and Insurtech solutions.

Clifford Chance advised on merger control and regulatory aspects of the transaction led by partner Philipp Girardet, supported by associates Jordan Bernstein and Sophie Scholl.
