Clifford Chance achieved 33 Band 1 rankings and 147 individual lawyer rankings in Legal 500 UK 2023, published on 30 September 2022 – more than any other London firm on both fronts.

Alongside retaining Band 1 rankings in the most complex fields of work, Clifford Chance entered Band 1 in the newly-minted Investment fund formation and management: Fund Finance section and is promoted into Band 1 for Industry Focus: Emerging Markets. Well done as well to the teams promoted into Band 2 for Risk advisory: Data protection, privacy and cybersecurity, and Public sector: Administrative and public law.
