Clifford Chance won the International Law Firm of the Year award at last night's IFLR Middle East Awards ceremony in Dubai, topping off a night that saw the firm pick up a further six awards. The Firm also holds the title of International Law Firm of the Year won at the Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards earlier this year.

In addition to Middle East International Law Firm of The Year, Clifford Chance also collected awards at the IFLR Middle East Awards last night in the following categories:

• Saudi Law Firm of the Year, for the 11th consecutive year
• Equity Team of the Year
• Restructuring Team of the Year
• M&A Deal of the Year
• Restructuring Deal of the Year
• Domestic Deal of the Year

Regional Managing Partner Robin Abraham, who accepted the International Law Firm of the Year award on behalf of the firm, commented: "We are delighted to be recognised by this award for a sixth time. It is a testament to the calibre of our lawyers based in the region and the complexity of the work they undertake for our clients in the Middle East and beyond".

Earlier this year, Clifford Chance received the International Law Firm of the Year award at the 2016 Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards (jointly hosted by Legal Week and the Association of Corporate Counsel Middle East group). Clifford Chance also topped this year's Chambers Global Top 30. The Firm's stellar performance confirms Clifford Chance as the leading law firm in the Middle East.
