The Emirates Emirates Airlines UK Export Finance US$913 million sukuk (Khadrawy) and the Government of Malaysia US$1.5 billion sukuk were each recognised for their innovative features at the Euromoney Awards. The team that worked on the Emirates deal included William Glaister (London), Qudeer Latif (Dubai), Shauaib Mirza (Dubai) and Rhona Byrne (Dubai) and the Malaysia deal involved Qudeer Latif, Gareth Deiner (Singapore), Crawford Brickley (Singapore), and Shauaib Mirza.
