CFTC Bitfinex Enforcement Action

On June 2, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued an order against Hong Kong based cryptocurrency exchange BFXNA Inc. doing business as Bitfinex for violating the Commodity Exchange Act. The Order expands the CFTC's regulation of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into spot markets under certain conditions.
