David Yeres concentrates principally on derivative transaction law matters and related investigations and disputes.

With over 30 years of practice, David has provided legal and regulatory advice on the development and operation of various financial products and markets, including electronic markets, that involve derivative transactions, securities, foreign exchange and commodities, as well as on the resolution of related investigations and disputes.

  • David has been Co-Chairman of the American Bar Association Subcommittee on Off Exchange Commodity Transactions and a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Committee Business Law Section and is past Chairman of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Futures Regulation
  • In addition to regularly lecturing and writing in the derivative product law area, David has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Fordham Law School
