Matthew Hinker’s practice focuses on protecting and advancing the interests of sponsors, corporate debtors, and creditor groups in various transactional and litigation related matters, including in and out-of-court restructurings.
Matthew routinely counsels private equity clients and their portfolio companies with respect to corporate governance matters, value creation, crisis management, operational distress, and risk management.
Matthew holds specific experience advising on aspects of stakeholder risk and reputation, having worked closely with the Government of Puerto Rico following Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Governor of California following PG&E’s chapter 11 filings and the Governor and Attorney General of Hawaii following the catastrophic Maui wildfires.
