Hans Menski is a partner in Clifford Chance's Tokyo office and focuses on energy and infrastructure transactions. He co-heads the Energy Transition Group.
Hans specialises in project development and finance, advising borrowers, sponsors and financiers on international energy and infrastructure investments across sectors including thermal and renewable power, clean hydrogen, oil & gas, refining and petrochemicals, mining and LNG. He has particular expertise in first-of-a-kind project developments and complex, multi-source financings including ECAs, DFIs, MDBs and commercial lenders. Hans also advises on ECA finance, asset finance, acquisition finance and other banking transactions.
Hans has been based in Tokyo for over fifteen years, and previously worked in London and Paris. He is a member of Clifford Chance’s Worldwide Projects Group.

プロジェクト開発およびファイナンスを専門とし、借入人、スポンサー、金融機関に対して、火力発電・再生可能エネルギー、クリーン水素、石油・ガス、製油・石油化学、鉱業、LNGなどの分野にわたる国際的なエネルギー・インフラ投資について助言を行っています。特に、初の試みとなるプロジェクト開発や、輸出信用機関（ECA）、開発金融機関（DFI）、多国間開発銀行（MDB）、商業銀行など複数の資金源を組み合わせた複雑なファイナンスに関する高い専門性を有しています。また、ECAファイナンス、アセットファイナンス、買収ファイナンス、その他の銀行取引についても助言を行っています。
ハンスは東京に15年以上拠点を置いており、以前はロンドンとパリで勤務していました。現在、クリフォードチャンスのワールドワイド・プロジェクト・グループのメンバーでもあります。
