Gioacchino Foti specialises in banking, financial regulations and capital markets. He has been an advisor to the Italian Banking Association (ABI) in the roundtables relating to the implementation of Basel 3/CRD4 on hybrid Tier 1, CoCo and Tier 2 instruments for banks (2009/YTD), to the Italian new regulation on OPA/OPS on debt products (2010/2012) and to the forthcoming European rules on bail-inable instruments.
Gioacchino has long-standing and close contact with senior officers at CONSOB, the Italian Stock Exchange and the Bank of Italy.
