Kate has worked as a Finance and Capital Markets partner at Clifford Chance for most of her career and is now the Firm's Global Thought Leadership partner, co-chairs the firm’s Thought Leadership Board with its Managing Partner and chairs the firm's London and Global Legal Opinions Committees.

She is the Deputy Chair of the Financial Markets Law Committee and has been a member of the Chatham House Council chairing its Remuneration Committee and of the working groups of the City of London Law Society considering issues of security reform, and legal opinions and is a Distinguished Practitioner member of the Commercial Law Centre at Harris Manchester College Oxford.
