James Bole specialises in advising UK-listed and international corporate clients on the full range of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on public M&A transactions.
For the last two years, James was seconded as Secretary to the Takeover Panel, the independent regulator of takeovers and other matters to which the City code applies. During his secondment, he acted as a senior regulator of the highest profile takeovers in the UK market, including the contested £25 billion takeover battle for Sky, and in formulating Takeover Panel policy.
