Alexandra Davidson specialises in advising sponsors on the establishment of private funds, as well as GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions.
Her experience spans a broad range of products and asset classes, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure and more bespoke strategies.
Alexandra is based in London but has also worked in the firm's New York office, advising various North American clients on legal and regulatory matters.
- 3i: Formation of a GP-led secondary programme to invest in Action, as a secondary acquisition from 3i Eurofund V. Numerous related matters including 3i's acquisition of a stake in the programme from GIC.
- 3i Infrastructure: Numerous matters including a GP-led programme to acquire Lefdal Mine Datacenter from a fund managed by Columbia Threadneedle Investments
- Blackstone Strategic Partners: various portfolio acquisitions
- Bridgepoint: Formation of Bridgepoint Credit Funds I and II, Bridgepoint Development Capital Funds I, II, III and V, Bridgepoint Growth Funds I and II and various co-investment partnerships
- Bridgepoint: Acquisition and integration of EQT Credit (including the management platform and all funds/portfolios)
- Climate Asset Management: Formation of products focused on natural capital and nature-based carbon, including its landmark partnership with Apple
- DWS: Formation of Private Equity Solutions, a global private equity-focused fund, and the sale of its private equity business to Brookfield
- Epiris: Formation of Epiris Fund II, Epiris Fund III and a number of co-investment mandates
- Macquarie: Formation of various infrastructure-focused funds/programmes
- Partners Group: Advice on a range of real estate co-investments and commitments
- Permira: Advice on certain matters in respect of Permira IX
- Rock Rail: Formation of partnership with Aberdeen Investments in respect of new UK-rail focused investment platform anchored by StepStone and Partners Group
- SMBC: Formation of its debut seeded credit fund, anchored by Pantheon
