Alex Walker is a Partner in the Intellectual Property team, advising on patents, trade marks, copyright, trade secrets, media and advertising.
He helps clients protect, exploit and enforce IP rights, combining litigation strategy with commercial advice. He has experience before the UK courts and CJEU, and regularly supports complex licensing arrangements, transactions and regulatory matters.
His client base spans start-ups to multinationals across healthcare, technology, entertainment, media, financial services and FMCG. He holds a BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
Alex is ranked as a Rising Star by Managing IP (2025) and has been recognised as a Key Lawyer by Legal 500 UK for Life Sciences & Healthcare and Sport, with particular strength in video games and esports. He is also editor of Level Up: A Guide to the Video Games Industry.
