Milena Robotham specialises in European competition law and has broad experience representing companies in proceedings before the European Commission.

Milena advises a range of corporate clients, including in contentious behavioural matters, complex merger control cases and advisory and compliance matters. She has particular expertise in technology and energy markets. Milena has experience advising on high-profile cases both from the in-house and outside counsel perspective.

  • Advised various parties in the EU abuse of dominance investigation of Google's practices in Search and Android
  • Advised a party in respect of the first European Commission investigation regarding the use of injunctions based on standard-essential patents (SEPs)
  • Advised a US solar panel manufacturer in international arbitration proceedings, in relation to EU antitrust issues
  • Advised a multinational energy company in connection with its investment into a liquefied natural gas (LNG) expansion project.
  • Advised S&P Global on the sale of its pricing and evaluations business to Intercontinental Exchange
  • Advised Goshawk Aviation, NWS Holdings and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises on the merger control aspects of the USD 6.7 billion sale of Goshawk Aviation's commercial aircraft leasing platform to SMBC Aviation Capital Limited
  • Advised CVC Capital Partners in relation to its investment in an international group of media agencies
