Noah Lim is an Associate in the Disputes group of Clifford Chance.

He has experience in regulatory investigations, international arbitration and litigation, and advises clients on a wide variety of issues relating to data protection, employment and regulatory compliance matters.

Noah graduated with a Bachelors of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore. In his spare time, Noah has also published extensively in both local and international journals on a range of topics including fiduciary duties, insolvency law, and AI policy.

  • Advised an entertainment conglomerate in relation to a breach of user data and related data breach notification obligations.
  • Advised a Hong Kong-based conglomerate on data protection issues in relation to its online virtual AI service offering.
  • Advised a leading financial institution on regulatory issues relating to its planned rollout of enterprise AI solutions.
  • Acted for an international aircraft engine supplier in relation to an investigation dealing with allegations of misconduct.
  • Represented a mining and metals company in an SIAC arbitration in relation to the breach of contract by the buyer with the total value of claims exceeding US$100 million.
  • Advised a commodities seller in relation to proceedings involving an SIAC Award, spanning the General Division of the High Court and the Singapore International Commercial Court, with the total value of claims exceeding US$150 million.
  • Advised various clients, including a regional venture capital firm, a state-owned investment firm, and a global financial institution on issues relating to data protection, cybersecurity, and AI.
