- Acted for the liquidators of Hin Leong Trading (Pte.) Ltd in a claim against the company’s directors for fraudulent trading and breach of directors’ duties, seeking recovery of over US$3.5 billion. The dispute involves claims of fabrication of gains, forgery of documents, and manipulation of accounts to conceal massive losses sustained by the company over many years.*
- Acted for Bidzina Ivanishvili, a former Prime Minister of Georgia, and his family in proceedings before the Singapore International Commercial Court and the Singapore Court of Appeal against Credit Suisse Trust Limited for breach of trust leading to losses in an investment portfolio worth over US$1 billion.*
- Acted for a hotel management conglomerate in SIAC arbitration proceedings against an Indonesian hotel owner on issues arising from hotel management agreements.*
- Advised an insurance company on investigations into alleged employee misconduct, involving allegations of fraud, conflict of interest, and breach of company policies.*
