- Acting for a major oil and gas company in a dispute with its EPC contractor arising out of a contract from the procurement and construction of a petrochemical complex.
- Advising a sovereign wealth fund on its rights as a shareholder and the potential liabilities of directors, as well as providing strategic guidance on issues relating to corporate governance.
- Advising and acting for a private equity fund in relation to a dispute involving a sale and purchase of shares. The value of the claim was approximately US$10 million.
- Advising and acting for a Chinese bank in relation to the default on a facility agreement and the enforcement of various securities and personal guarantees. Successfully obtained winding up orders in both the British Virgin Islands and in Hong Kong.
- Advising and acting for a Hong Kong listed company in a dispute involving allegations of fraud and conspiracy with a claim of approximately US$60 million. The dispute spanned four jurisdictions, involving foreign counsels from Singapore, United Kingdom and South Africa.
