Alice Raine has a wide range of experience across the commercial real estate sector in acquisitions, lettings and developments with a particular focus on indirect property acquisitions and real estate joint ventures. She advises on domestic property transaction as well as cross-border portfolio deals and transactions where the assets are situated outside the UK. Alice works for a broad base of international clients including real estate funds, financial institutions and corporate occupiers.
- AIG Europe on the acquisition and development forward funding of various sites in the UK for student accommodation and residential lettings
- Angelo Gordon & Co in connection with a number of London development projects, including the acquisition of three car park sites and the acquisition of One Commercial Street, London
- Actis LLP, CDC and IFC on the tripartite joint venture and co-investment arrangement between Actis LLP, CDC and IFC for the development of a mixed-use development in Nairobi comprising circa 50,000 sq m retail, 421 residential units and a hotel
- Unibail-Rodamco on the acquisition of a 50% economic interest in the CentrO shopping centre in Oberhausen, Germany, one of Europe’s largest shopping centres, from the Stadium group and the revision of the joint venture arrangements with CPPIB in relation to ongoing management of the property
