Abigail specialises in international arbitration and corporate defence. Abigail has experience encompassing a wide range of jurisdictions and international rules, including those of the ICC and LCIA.

Abigail's practice encompasses sectors including construction, mining, banking, and private equity. Abigail also has a particular interest in the Retail, Fashion and & Luxury sector.  

Abigail has worked in Clifford Chance's Amsterdam office on two separate occasions.

  • Acting for an EMEA entity in two parallel arbitrations (ICC, London seat) involving contracts for the long-term supply of iron ore. Total claims exceed USD 3 billion
  • Acting for a global private equity house in two parallel arbitrations (LCIA, Geneva seat) concerning breaches of a subscription and shareholder deed and an employment contract
  • Advising an EMEA entity regarding breaches of a construction contract
  • Advising two global financial institutions in relation to criminal investigations in relation to historic tax reclaims
  • Conducting an investigation for a financial institution into trading misconduct and potential market abuse
  • Acting for a major financial technology company regarding an internal investigation into controls in place during a token distribution
