Alexander is a Counsel in Clifford Chance's Paris office, practicing English and French law in the firm's Global Financial Markets practice. He has a broad practice specialising in debt capital markets, banking, structured finance and financial regulation.
Alex has developed a particular expertise in FinTech, working on several market-leading digital bond projects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the UK and several other leading projects which involve the use of DLT in financial services. He has a comprehensive understanding of digital securities, smart contracts, distributed ledger technology, different models of blockchain infrastructure and the functioning of central bank digital currency tokens and other forms of digital settlement assets. His expertise is reflected in his track record and his industry engagement.
