Tom is a Senior Associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution group in Sydney. 

Tom's practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in class actions, shareholder litigation, and high-value contractual disputes. 

He regularly acts for major corporates, private equity firms, and high net-worth individuals across a range of sectors including financial and professional services, infrastructure, and real estate.

  • Representing a leading professional services firm in its defence of a shareholder class action in the Federal Court of Australia arising out of the demise of an ASX-listed alternative asset manager.
  • Representing a leading professional services firm in its defence of a shareholder class action in the Federal Court of Australia arising out of the demise of an ASX-listed forestry company.
  • Representing a large multinational construction contractor in an arbitration concerning a significant Australian rail project. NSW law, ACICA Rules, Sydney seat. 
  • Representing an individual in proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales concerning alleged breaches of a share sale agreement.
  • Representing a global private equity firm in proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal concerning the defective construction of a logistics facility in Greater Melbourne.*
  • Representing an individual in proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia concerning claims of misleading and deceptive conduct by creditors of defunct property group iProsperity.*
  • Representing a government client in the energy sector in an expert determination of a contractual dispute concerning the interpretation of a foreign exchange rate adjustment mechanism.*
