Clifford Chance topped the IJGlobal and Inframation & SparksSpread FY19 League Tables for infrastructure, infrastructure finance and project finance.
Clifford Chance ranked first globally by deal value for project finance and by deal count for infrastructure finance in the IJGlobal tables, holding these positions for the second year in a row. In the infrastructure finance (project, corporate and non-commercial finance) league tables, the firm advised on 129 deals valued at US$80,839 million. In the project finance league tables, the firm advised on 80 deals valued at US$48,175 million.
The firm maintains its lead in the global transport sector in both the infrastructure finance and project finance league tables, and ranked highly in renewables and power as well. Regionally, the firm took the top spot in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa for both the project finance and infrastructure finance league tables.
In the Inframation and SparkSpread FY19 League Tables, Clifford Chance was named the top legal advisor by deal count, with the firm advising on 144 deals valued at US$89,305 million globally. The firm also retained the top spot in the European league tables in terms of value and deal count. The firm advised 94 deals with a value of US$62,547.
