Philip was formerly head of the firm’s contentious insurance group and is recognised as a leading expert in the field of insurance and reinsurance disputes, with a particular focus on acting for policyholders on high value and complex claims.
He has for many years been ranked as a Leading Partner and in Band 1 in Legal 500 and Chambers and was Chair of the City of London Law Society's Insurance Law Committee for 10 years.
Philip Hill has over 35 years' experience dealing with a wide range of complex multiparty and frequently cross-border disputes in the courts and in arbitration, principally in the (re)insurance sector, but also handling professional negligence disputes involving accountants and lawyers.
