As Global Head of Knowledge and Training, Matt leads Clifford Chance’s global knowledge and training function and co-ordinates the creation, curation and delivery of the Firm’s knowledge resources and legal training. 

Matt works closely with practice and sector teams across the Firm to ensure our lawyers have fast, reliable access to the latest legal developments and market insight.  By translating these developments into clear, practical implications, Matt’s team of knowledge lawyers and information professionals allow clients to better anticipate the opportunities and issues created by legal changes.

Matt is also at the forefront of knowledge innovation, developing new tools powered by Clifford Chance subject matter expertise knowledge rather than generic off-the-shelf datasets, enabling lawyers provide truly tailored and thoughtful advice. 

Matt was previously a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate team, advising on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.  Matt specialised specialises in corporate real estate matters, including real estate joint ventures and acquisitions and disposals structured through corporate vehicles.
