Jan Conrady specialises in multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration with a focus on construction and engineering disputes as well as infrastructure disputes.
Having acted for both owners and contractors Jan advises on the selection, negotiation and realization of the respective construction contracts (e.g. general contractor agreements, EPC) and additional contracts (e.g. Direct Agreement, Stock/Account Pledge Agreement). On top of that he advises on all aspects of claims management and general legal issues during the construction phase. For a period of six months, Jan had been seconded to an energy group where he drafted and negotiated a contract for the installation of an offshore wind farm consisting of 54 wind turbines.
Jan Conrady ist spezialisiert auf grenzüberschreitende gerichtliche und schiedsgerichtliche Streitigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit nationalen wie internationalen Industrieanlagen- und Infrastrukturprojekten.
Er berät Mandanten auf dem Gebiet des internationalen und nationalen Anlagenbaus auf Auftraggeber- und Auftragnehmerseite bei der Wahl, Verhandlung und Umsetzung des jeweiligen Bauvertragstyps (klassischer GU-Vertrag, EPC etc.) und der Nebenverträge (Direct Agreement, Stock/Account Pledge Agreement etc.). Darüber hinaus berät Jan Conrady während der Bauphase beim Claims Management und der Projektsteuerung bis zur Fertigstellung des jeweiligen Projekts. Im Rahmen eines sechsmonatigen Secondments bei einem Energiekonzern entwarf und verhandelte Jan Conrady die Verträge zur Errichtung eines Offshore-Windparks bestehend aus 54 Windturbinen.

- Advising international cable installation company on enforcement of additional costs and defence of claims arising out of the construction contract regarding the installation of 43 inter-array cables for an offshore wind farm and representation in the following ICC arbitration (2013 – present)
- Advising Qatari joint venture in connection with Dispute Adjudication Board proceedings over infrastructure project „Lusail“, Doha (2011)

- Beratung eines internationalen Anlagenbauers bei der Durchsetzung von Werklohnansprüchen im Zusammenhang mit der Errichtung einer Propylen/Polypropylen-Anlage in Port Said, Ägypten (2013 - heute)
