Chase Lindsey advises financial institutions and other market participants on complex US regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters.
Chase counsels clients on regulatory obligations under federal securities, commodities, and banking laws, including emerging issues involving digital assets, and has significant experience navigating cross‑border matters. He also advises on financial regulatory issues arising in corporate transactions and represents clients in investigations and enforcement matters involving the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, and the DOJ.
Before joining Clifford Chance, Chase served as an Assistant Chief Counsel in the Division of Market Oversight at the CFTC and clerked for Judge Rebecca Beach Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
