Katie Joukadjian leads our transactional Construction team in Australia, providing front end support in connection with the procurement of major projects in Australia and across Asia Pacific.
She has extensive experience advising developers, sponsors, lenders, investors and contractors on all aspects of the procurement and delivery of high-profile projects across the energy & resources, infrastructure and real estate sectors.
• Wambo 2 Wind Farm: advising the EPC contractor in connection with the development of the second stage of the Wambo Wind Farm in Queensland, adding 41 new wind turbines and increasing energy generation by an additional 250MW*
• Public Transport Ticketing (PTT) Project (Vic): advised a bidder on its tender for the replacement of the existing Myki ticketing system and long-term operation of the Victorian public transport ticketing system*
• 300MW Deer Park Battery, Victoria: advising an energy contractor on the review and negotiation of the EPC and O&M Contracts for the Deer Park BESS Project*
• South-East Metro Advanced Waste Processing PPP: representing a contractor in its capacity as both operator and equity investor on its bid for this waste-to-energy project, located in Victoria, Australia*
• Melbourne Metro Tunnels & Stations PPP: advised a member of the D&C JV in connection with its delivery of the Melbourne Metro Tunnels & Stations PPP, including negotiation of complex amendments to existing project documents*
• Nenskra Hydropower Plant Project: advised lenders in connection with the development of a 280MW hydropower plant to be located on the Nenskra River in Georgia
• Jebel Ali Refinery Expansion Project: advised a government affiliated entity in connection with the US$1 billion expansion of the Jebel Ali Refinery in Dubai, UAE
• MRC and MCC Prison Infill Expansion Project: advised Project Co in connection with major augmentations to two existing prison PPP projects, including drafting and negotiating upstream and downstream D&C contracts and amendments to the existing project documents*
• Shuqaiq 3 Independent Water Project: advised a consortium of sponsors in respect of the Shuqaiq 3 independent water project in Saudi Arabia, including drafting and negotiating the EPC Contract and O&M Contract
• Numurkah and Katamatite Solar Farms: advised the EPC contractor in connection with the development of two 8.3MW solar PV power plants to be located in Numurkah and Katamatite in Victoria*
• Circular Quay Redevelopment Project: advised a member of a D&C bidding consortium in respect of its bid for the Circular Quay Redevelopment PPP Project in Sydney*
• Winton Solar Farm: advising the mechanical subcontractor in connection with the 85 MW solar PV power plant, near Benalla in Victoria*
