Clifford Chance promotes four new Counsels in Amsterdam

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance announces the promotion of four new counsels in Amsterdam, effective as of 1 May 2022: Evert Van der Kaa (Corporate/M&A), Hansuya Reddy (Corporate/M&A), Tjerk De Jonge (Corporate/Notarial) and IJsbrand De Jong (Employment, Incentives and Pensions).

Evert van der Kaa has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border private mergers & acquisitions, distressed and insolvency-related M&A, joint ventures and corporate advisory work. He mainly advises large corporates, international and domestic private equity firms, PE portfolio companies and family owned-businesses.

Hansuya Reddy is a New York and South African law qualified lawyer in the Amsterdam Corporate practice, with experience in M&A, private equity and equity capital markets transactions. She advises both international and domestic private equity firms and their portfolio companies, financial institutions and corporates on various corporate matters, including sell-side and buy-side M&A and takeovers. She also has experience working in capital markets in both the US and Sub-Saharan Africa, for both issuers and underwriters. She is the Africa Co-Practice Area Leader for TMT and CG&R.

Tjerk de Jonge specialises in the establishment and structuring of investment funds and corporate transactions. He regularly advises on the establishment of investment funds, fund investments, separate managed accounts, carried interest schemes, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions, IPO’s, corporate restructurings, as well as day-to-day counselling of public and private companies on a wide range of matters.

IJsbrand de Jong has ample experience advising and litigating on various (cross-border) employment law matters. These include individual and collective dismissals, restructurings, transfer of undertaking, works council disputes, executive compensation and employer liability.
