Pieter van Welzen

Pieter van Welzen specialises in structured and asset backed financing, including securitisations, CLOs and covered bonds. He also advises on "alternative funding" transactions that involve securitisation-like techniques and assets such as mortgage loans, SME loans and corporate loans.

Pieter frequently advises clients on regulatory aspects of structured and asset backed finance transactions and advises financial as well as corporate clients. Pieter is a member of the Clifford Chance Africa group, where his particular focus is on Portuguese-speaking Africa.
