Chris Grey is part of the Tech Group and the TMT M&A team and works closely with clients on all types of cross-border M&A, equity and debt financings, capital markets and other strategic deals in the constantly evolving technology, life sciences, media and telecommunications sectors.

Chris advises clients at all stages of development: major public companies, emerging growth companies, their strategic partners, investors, private equity funds, venture capital funds and investment banks. He also regularly advises on corporate governance matters. He is qualified to practice in England and in France, with over 10 years of prior experience in the Paris market.

  • Telefonica Tech on its £340m acquisition of Cancom UK & Ireland, a cloud services business based in the UK.
  • the founders of Devoteam (Godefroy and Stanislas de Bentzmann) on their proposed c. €800 million tender offer for Devoteam, with the support of KKR*
  • OMERS Infrastructure, Allianz Capital Partners and AXA Investment Managers on their acquisition of a 49.99 percent stake in Altice's SFR FTTH fiber optic business for €1.8 billion*
  • American Tower Corporation and PGGM on the acquisition of FPS Towers, c. €700 million*

  • Casino on several matters, including (i) the disposal of its majority stake in Big C Thailand to TCC Group for €3.1 billion* (ii) the sale of Big C Vietnam to Central Group for a valuation of €1 billion (iii) the €150m investment by Tikehau Capital and Bpifrance in GreenYellow*
  • Bouygues in the context of the €6.2 billion acquisition by Alstom of Bombardier Transportation*
  • Technip on its combination with FMC Technologies to create the US$13 billion company "TechnipFMC“*
  • Technicolor on the separate disposals of the Grass Valley Broadcast Business (to Francisco Partners) and the Head-End Business (to FCDE)
