Sophie Levy represents corporate clients in investigations and prosecutions led by multiple regulatory authorities worldwide, with complex issues in relation to alleged violations of French fraud and corruption laws, the U.K Bribery Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as individuals in similar investigations.
Sophie uses her experience of investigating and defending organizations to maintain an active compliance practice through the assistance of corporate clients in identifying corruption and financial crime risks within their businesses, and to design and implement effective compliance measures.
Sophie has been recognized in the 2022 Edition of the Best Lawyers in "Litigation" and "Criminal Defense".
Who’s Who Legal: Investigations 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 has ranked Sophie in the “Future Leaders” category for associates, stating that Sophie is "widely respected for her investigations litigation practice and is a well-known figure in the Paris market" and more recently that: "Sophie Levy is an acclaimed investigations practitioner, with expertise in both defending clients and investigating instances of corruption and financial crime across Europe, Asia and the USA." Sophie designed the Clifford Chance Global Dawn Raid mobile application on how to manage investigations worldwide, covering over 80 regulatory authorities across Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States. More recently, Sophie also designed the Clifford Chance Litigation Guide mobile application, providing a guide to litigation in over 16 countries.
