Christine Wang specialises in commercial litigation.

Christine has experience advising in a broad range of disputes including in energy, resources and infrastructure, technology, media and telecommunications, and antitrust litigation.

Christine also co-leads Accelerate (Clifford Chance's gender parity network) in Australia.

Energy, resources and infrastructure

  • Advising a private equity firm in relation to breaches of an engineering, procurement and construction contract in connection with a large onshore windfarm project on the East Coast of Australia. 

Technology, Media and Telecommunications

  • Advising an Australian ecommerce company in relation to a A$100m+ ICC arbitration (Hong Kong seat) against a large Asian financial institution.

Antitrust litigation

  • Advising a multinational software company in relation to separate proceedings in the Federal Court against Apple and Google in respect of allegations of misuse of market power and unconscionable conduct.
  • Advising an industry association for coal producers in respect of the terms and conditions of their access to the Port of Newcastle and in respect of the ACCC's authorisation for collective bargaining.
