Clifford Chance advises HIH Invest on the acquisition of a fully let residential complex in Böblingen
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised HIH Invest, a leading investment manager for real estate and infrastructure, on the acquisition of the “Quartier auf dem Flugfeld” residential ensemble in Böblingen for the open-ended special AIF “HIH Wohninvest Quartiere Deutschland”.
The fully let residential property, with a total rental area of approximately 10,300 square metres, comprises 121 residential units, a commercial unit on the ground floor, and an underground car park with 181 spaces. The seller of the residential complex, which was completed in 2012, is the Hamburg-based investment, asset, and fund manager HT Group, which acquired the property in 2013 for the closed-end real estate fund “domicilium 7”.
The residential ensemble forms part of the new “Flugfeld” urban quarter – the largest construction project in the Stuttgart region, located on a former airfield. Covering around 80 hectares, the development will provide residential, commercial, and service spaces with short distances to local amenities, leisure facilities, and medical care.

Die globale Anwaltskanzlei Clifford Chance hat HIH Invest, einen führenden Investmentmanager für Immobilien und Infrastruktur, beim Erwerb des Wohnensembles „Quartier auf dem Flugfeld“ in Böblingen für den offenen Spezial-AIF „HIH Wohninvest Quartiere Deutschland“ beraten.
Die vollvermietete Wohnimmobilie mit einer Gesamtmietfläche von rund 10.300 Quadratmetern verfügt über 121 Wohneinheiten, eine Gewerbeeinheit im Erdgeschoss sowie eine Tiefgarage mit 181 Stellplätzen. Verkäufer der 2012 fertiggestellten Wohnanlage ist der Hamburger Investment-, Asset- und Fondsmanager HT Group, der das Objekt 2013 für den geschlossenen Immobilienfonds „domicilium 7“ erworben hatte.
Das Wohnensemble ist Teil des neuen Stadtquartiers „Flugfeld“ – das größte Bauprojekt in der Region Stuttgart, welches auf einem ehemaligen Flughafengelände liegt. Auf rund 80 Hektar entstehen Wohnungen sowie Gewerbe- und Dienstleistungsflächen mit kurzen Wegen zu Nahversorgung, Freizeitangeboten und medizinischer Versorgung.
