Clifford Chance advises Certis Belchim on partnership with Redestos in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkan region
Clifford Chance has advised Certis Belchim, which is part of Mitsui AgriScience, on the strengthening of its partnership with Redestos in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkan region. In the Balkan region, Certis Belchim and Redestos have formed a new joint venture under the name of KCB Agriscience B.V. Certis Belchim has also acquired a 30% stake in Redestos' subsidiary K&N Efthymiadis, covering Greece and Cyprus.
The partnership between Certis Belchim and Redestos is aimed at driving growth and innovation in the agricultural sector while contributing to sustainable agriculture practices in the region.
The Clifford Chance team was led from Brussels by Xavier Remy and Richard Blewett with support from Ilya Stekunov, Gillis Waelkens and Yonathan Tison. The team also included Maria Moga, Ecaterina Burlacu and Eleonora Udroiu in Bucharest, and Jeroen Thijssen, Laura Stegeman and Sebastiaan Van Steenbergen in Amsterdam.
