Clifford Chance advises BlackRock on acquisition of an office project in Berlin
Clifford Chance has advised BlackRock Real Assets on the acquisition of an office project in Berlin. The global asset manager acquired the project from one of the funds it manages before construction work began. The sellers are cds und Wulff Wohnbau.
The office complex is scheduled to be built by the end of 2021 on a property with an area of around 3,300 sqm in Thaerstrasse in Berlin's popular Prenzlauer Berg district. The project is part of a new quarter called "Mein Prenzlhain" covering around 11,000 sqm. Construction work is due to start in the second quarter of 2020. BlackRock will market the area itself.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat BlackRock Real Assets beim Erwerb eines Büroprojekts in Berlin beraten. Der globale Vermögensverwalter erwarb das Projekt vor Baubeginn für einen von ihm gemanagten Fonds. Verkäufer sind cds und Wulff Wohnbau.
Die Büroimmobilie soll auf einem rund 3.300 Quadratmeter großen Grundstück an der Thaerstraße im Berliner Prenzlauer Berg bis Ende 2021 errichtet werden. Das Projekt zählt zum Quartier "Mein Prenzlhain" und wird rund 11.000 Quadratmeter umfassen. Der Baubeginn soll im 2. Quartal 2020 erfolgen. BlackRock wird die Flächen selbst vermarkten.
