Clifford Chance advises Primonial REIM on the acquistion of twelve retirement homes in Germany by means of a leaseback transaction
Clifford Chance has advised the French portfolio management company Primonial REIM on behalf of one of its funds on the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of twelve retirement homes in Germany by means of a leaseback transaction.
The properties are located in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia and are fully let for a period of 20 years to advita Pflegedienst GmbH, one of Germany's largest nursing services companies with more than 2,200 employees.
The portfolio consisting of 513 assisted living units, 290 community beds and 398 nursing care places comprises a total area of 57,550 m² across twelve facilities. Five of these facilities are already in operation and seven are still being developed.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die französische Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft Primonial REIM im Namen eines seiner Fonds beim Erwerb eines Portfolios von zwölf Seniorenwohnheimen in Deutschland im Wege einer Sale-and-Lease-Back-Transaktion beraten.
Die Objekte befinden sich in Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt und Thüringen und sind für einen Zeitraum von 20 Jahren vollständig an den überregional tätigen Pflegedienst advita Pflegedienst GmbH vermietet, der mit über 2.200 Mitarbeitern zu den größten Pflegediensten in Deutschland zählt.
Das Portfolio, bestehend aus 513 betreuten Wohneinheiten, 290 Gemeinschaftsbetten und 398 Pflegeplätzen, umfasst eine Gesamtfläche von 57.550 Quadratmetern, verteilt auf zwölf Einrichtungen. Davon sind fünf bereits in Betrieb und sieben befinden sich in Entwicklung oder Bau.
