Clifford Chance Of Counsel appointed as professor at renowned Dutch university

Of Counsel Tomáš Richter, head of legal know-how for the Prague office, has been appointed to the position of professor to the chair 'Cross-border Corporate Insolvency Law' at the Faculty of Law, Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands, with effect as of 1 April 2011.

Radboud University Nijmegen is one of the leading academic communities in the Netherlands. Established in 1923 and situated in the nation's oldest city, it has seven faculties and enrols over 17,500 students per academic year. The Faculty of Law has a long standing reputation for quality in research and teaching. Professor Dennis Faber of the Faculty works as senior advisor to the Amsterdam office.

Tomáš' research at the university will focus largely on insolvencies of corporate debtors. During the professorship Tomáš will continue in his current role within the Prague office. He will also continue to teach at the Institute of Economic Studies at the Charles University in Prague where he has taught since 2001.
