Significant new regimes for cybersecurity and digital operational resilience are coming into effect across Europe. In the EU, this includes NIS 2 which harmonises implementation of the EU’s existing cybersecurity framework, DORA, which addresses systemic cyber risks in the financial system and the Cyber Resilience Act. In the UK, there will be enhanced requirements for financial services under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2023.
