Luxembourg Law of 10 May 2016 implementing the UCITS V Directive

The Luxembourg law of 10 May 2016 was published in the Luxembourg official journal, the Mémorial A, on 12 May 2016 and will enter into force on 1 June 2016. It implements the so-called UCITS V Directive 2014/91/EU amending Directive 2009/65/EC on UCITS as regards depositary functions, remuneration policies and sanctions, and also introduces a number of changes to the Luxembourg legislation applicable to investment funds other than UCITS.
