This briefing follows from an earlier briefing of November 2008 titled "Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol – CHINA", which discussed the ratification by China of the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment 2001 and the Protocol thereto on Matters specific to Aircraft Equipment 2001. This briefing considers the administrative rules adopted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in applying the Cape Town Convention and Protocol, which came into effect in China on 1 June 2009.
