At Clifford Chance, we are committed to delivering a world-class service - providing the highest quality advice and support efficiently and effectively, every time.
Our clients are at the heart of how we work and we need to continue to anticipate what they will face next, adapt to the changes and provide our clients with the very best people, processes and solutions.
As part of our ongoing focus on innovation and change, Amsterdam Managing Partner, Bas Boris Visser, has assumed the role of Global Head of Innovation and Business Change. Bas Boris works with teams around the network to identify and implement new ways of working that will enable us to provide that world-class service - whether through technology that aids knowledge sharing or processes that improve efficiency.
Our award-winning Continuous Improvement programme was the first of its kind from any major law firm. To date, this programme has seen over 100 projects completed – often in collaboration with clients – and over 800 lawyers and business services staff trained in the techniques to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
We were also one of the first law firms to invest in an offshore centre in India which demonstrates Clifford Chance's readiness to make serious investments in pioneering new ways of working. Last year the Delhi-based Knowledge Centre worked on over 1,500 client projects for colleagues in 29 offices around our global network. Also in India is our Global Shared Service Centre, designed to give us better control of costs and tighter central coordination of administration services. In fact, today some 20 per cent of our business support staff are based in India.
We have a history of being on the forefront of innovation in our sector and our aim is to continue to set the benchmark.
