On 8 May 2013, a meeting of the Sejm subcommittee for energy took place at which the Ministry of the Economy presented its plans for preventing the oversupply of certificates of origin from Renewable Energy Sources ("RES").
The Ministry of Economy's concern about the oversupply of certificates of origin has arisen because over the last year, there has been a significant decrease in the prices of certificates of origin from RES (so-called green certificates) at the Power Exchange.
